  • Ruth Exley

    Ruth Exley, LCSW

    DIRECTOR, THERAPT

    Ruth Exley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of Restore Therapy. Ruth enjoys learning collaboratively with her clients and creating a secure space where they can speak unfiltered. Ruth cares deeply about her client’s success and is dedicated to creating an accessible clinic centered around best practices and collaboration with primary care.

    Ruth earned her B.A. in Social Work and Spanish from the University of Portland and completed her Masters of Science in Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice with children and families at Columbia University. Ruth holds national certification as a TF-CBT therapist and has collaborated in research projects related to training and disseminating TF-CBT.

    Ruth’s career has focused on providing clinical services to children, young adults and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings in children's hospitals, medical clinics and child advocacy centers.

    When she’s not in the office, you can find her hanging out with her husband and two children, exploring good restaurants or at a pro soccer match.

  • Brian Devine, CSWA

    THERAPIST

    Brian is a Clinical Social Work Associate with experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) .

    Brian recently completed his Master of Social Work from Portland State University, where he interned with the Lifeworks NW EASA program and NW Anxiety Institute, providing counseling services for youth and adult clients experiencing psychosis, depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship challenges and trauma.

    Brian is excited to help college students understand their feelings, confront their challenges and find greater health and happiness.

    Prior to becoming a therapist, Brian served as an educator and vice principal at the middle and high school level. During that time, he recognized a passion for partnering with families to cultivate the personal growth of young people. It was this passion that led him to his second career as a therapist.

    As a longtime educator, Brian believes strongly in the power of collaborative relationships to cultivate learning and personal growth. He has a strong conviction in every person’s internal capacities and strengths to initiate a positive change in themselves. Brian’s goal as a therapist is to help young people guide their own healing and uncover their unrecognized potential.

    Brian lives in SE Portland, where he loves to create art, trail run, play guitar and explore the Pacific Northwest with his wife, daughter and golden doodle.

  • Kelsey Corey, LCSW

    THERAPIST

    Kelsey Corey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in therapy with young adults who are working through life transitions and general mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment. Kelsey values meeting her clients where they’re at and working through obstacles with a direct and gentle approach.

    Kelsey earned her B.A. in Psychology from Willamette University and her Masters in Social Work from Portland State University. Kelsey’s clinical experience includes working in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings for over 10 years at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Randall Children’s Hospital.

    Kelsey is a native Oregonian and an avid hiker, backpacker and skier. She is a long time equestrian and all around animal lover. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son.

  • Holly Gonzales, LCSW

    THERAPIST

    Holly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Holly believes that therapy is rooted in the principles of safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment and is committed building a safe therapeutic relationship with clients focused on these principles.

    Holly received her B.A. is psychology from the University of Colorado and her Masters of Social Work with an emphasis in trauma and family therapy from the University of Denver. She has experience working with children of all ages, parents, and young adults. Holly likes collaborating with other medical professionals to provide integrative and holistic treatment. Holly has focused on working with clients in home-based therapy, at schools, in outpatient settings, and within a children's developmental clinic.

    In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time with her pets, watching and playing sports, and soaking up as much sun as she can in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

  • Karan Randava, MD

    PSYCHIATRIST

    Karan has dedicated his career to understanding how psychotherapy and sometimes medication can have positive impacts on recovery. He sees children, teens, and adults for all mental health issues. He is particularly skilled at interpersonal conflicts. He aims to build trust with clients to collaboratively choose the right treatment option while dedicating time to understand problems from their root with an empathic approach.

    Karan received his bachelor’s degree in both psychology and chemical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois, then did a year of residency in family medicine before switching to psychiatry at OHSU. He completed his fellowship training for child and adolescent psychiatry in 2008. He has worked in a variety of settings over the past 8 years, including the inpatient psychiatric unit at Randall Children’s Hospital, residential and sub-acute treatment at Youth Villages, intensive community treatment services and day treatment at Lifeworks NW, and outpatient services through Cascadia, Santa Barbara community mental health, and private practice.

    In his spare time, Karan loves spending time with his wife and baby girl as well as their two dogs, Coco and Maisie. He is an avid kite surfer and loves to mountain bike. He is a dedicated animal lover and hopes to someday have a farm for rescues.
